BLACK GIRLS ROCK!® has delivered transformative programs that empower thousands of middle, high school, and college-aged girls. Through signature initiatives like BLACK GIRLS LEAD, Girls Rock Tech, and ROCK LIKE A GIRL, we equip young women with the tools to lead confidently, think critically, and excel academically while fostering civic engagement.

BLACK GIRLS ROCK! is dedicated to empowering Black girls to lead, innovate, and thrive by fostering leadership, academic excellence, creativity, entrepreneurship, and civic engagement.
By cultivating critical thinking, cultural literacy, and self-confidence, BLACK GIRLS ROCK!® inspires the next generation of trailblazers to reach their fullest potential and create transformative change in their communities and beyond.
BLACK GIRLS LEAD
A transformative leadership program designed to empower young Black women through workshops, panels, and mentorship equipping participants with the tools to become future leaders and trailblazers.
Conference
Created to advance young women’s leadership development, critical thinking skills, academic achievement, civic engagement, and philanthropy. The action-packed, forward-thinking BLACK GIRLS LEAD Conference features workshops, master classes, lectures and empowerment panels on media and cultural literacy, business, entrepreneurship, arts, social action, civic engagement, technology, financial literacy and more.
Alumnae Program
Provides young women who have completed BGR youth leadership programs with professional and personal development opportunities to help them succeed in college and beyond. The program offers roundtable discussions with prominent figures, one-on-one mentoring, internships, fellowships, scholarships, career guidance, and more.
BGR! Book Club
Began as a community-based initiative in Brooklyn, empowering young girls through reading and cultural enrichment. Originally serving a small local group, it has now expanded into a virtual platform connecting Black women and girls nationwide. This intergenerational space fosters learning, discussion, and author engagement while offering alumnae opportunities to stay involved through book talks and mentorship.
